口译翻译对英语基本功的要求比较高，当场听到马上能够组织语言翻译过来。要求必须能听懂，不能有任何原则性的错误，否则就是失败。这也是口语翻译最基本的能力。很多人想要做口译翻译，可是如何入门，怎么才能练好口译翻译呢?
复述
一开始是从练习复述开始，选择一篇2分钟左右的听力材料，听完之后做复述，刚开始可以选择记一些关键的信息。每个人程度不同，练着练着自己也会有感觉的，当一篇文章80%-90%的内容都能复述出来，基本可以试着进行下一步了。
笔记
笔记的目的是辅助大脑记忆更多的信息，不是代替大脑进行工作，所以一个好的口译员还是脑记为主，笔记为辅，一般是脑记70%，笔记30%。选择一些有用的口语翻译书籍，好好看看人家的笔记符号是如何运用的，积累一些常用的符号，分析文章的逻辑，以及文字语言是怎么转化成为符号语言的。然后，在不看范例的情况下，自己看着原文，进行练习，之后对比文中的范例，补充自己的遗漏之处。
